The Lotty Rud named in this Last Will and Testament is Charlotte Ussery, the daughter of Welcome Ussery. She married David Rudd who was the son of George Washington Rudd and grandson of Burlngham Rudd 2nd.

Note: This plat includes two parcels owned by E. Rudd but it’s not certain if this is one person. Most likely is. Also included in this plat is Poland as a neighbor to E. Rudd. George A. Poland will marry the widow of James Rudd. Also included is neighbor, L. Bradwell who may be the father of Isaac Bradwell who will marry Tabitha Rudd, the daughter of Elias Rudd.

GLR’s land is identified as neighboring that of Benjamine Singletary, Jr. This most likely the plot of land that was granted to GLR on December 30, 1791. Future records indicate that the Rudd and Singletary families married into each other.
